Description

Wow, Issue 4. I can’t believe it has already been 4 issues of Lucky 7 Magazine since 2021. For this issue, I wanted to focus on sound, and it just happened to coincide with the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop, the genre that has changed so many of our lives.
In this issue, I touched on my relationship with the genre and artists that have an everlasting imprint on my life like the late Gangsta Boo. There are various profiles with artists like the phenomenal break-out star, Kelly Moonstone, the Little Rock Legend, Kari Faux, the Detroit GhettoTech Trio, HiTech, the Moreno Valley soulful producer JUNIE., the passionate wordsmith, Navy Blue, and a closing story looking at the city of Houston’s relationship with Hip-Hop featuring an interview with the modern mixer, DJ Sir Crks.
So much has gone into this issue, and I am so appreciative of everyone involved and everyone here reading this. Thank you all so much. I hope you enjoy reading everything as much as I enjoyed making it.
